Jugendherberge Burg Lichtenberg

We spontaneously booked 2 nights during the Christmas holidays. The rooms are old, but large. What urgently needs to be replaced is the silicone in the shower and the mattresses. Otherwise everything was great so far. The food was good, the castle, the geoscope and the musicians museum were great. We were able to visit this for free. On the way home we were able to go to the Dynamicum Pirmasens with the Pfalzcard. The children were thrilled. We would come again.

Rooms are typical for a youth hostel. As a woman who is almost 180, bunk beds are unfortunately rather less comfortable. But they were super clean. Mattresses not a single stain. Pillows and blankets very clean. I've had very terrible experiences in 4 star hotels. The service tops everything. All the ladies in the team are so incredibly hard-working, warm and super fast in everything they do. You just feel comfortable. We have booked the family Advent weekend. The food was an absolute blast. Here again, cheers to the ladies from the kitchen team. On the second evening, the tables were set almost like Christmas tables and there was delicious food. Crafts for the kids. The blast. Not just for the children. I also acted out. If you want to enjoy time together and, as a mother, don't have to cook and still want to eat relaxed and delicious food, this is the right place for you. And the nice thing is that the kids can go into the playroom and the parents can still sit comfortably. The cocktails were also world class. Thank you for the nice weekend!!!!
